I got this recipe from a co-worker a long time ago. I was pregnant at the time and these were one of my biggest cravings! (I don’t know if the pan is meant to be an 8×8 or 9×9? or maybe even a 9×13… I really can’t remember for sure)

Lemon Cake Bars

Lemon Cake Bars printable recipe

Ingredients:

Bars:

• 1 egg
• 1/4 – 1/2 c. water
• 1 box lemon cake mix

Topping:

• 2 eggs
• 8 oz cream cheese
• 1 c. powdered sugar

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350.

Mix everything for the bars together and press into the bottom of a greased pan.

Mix together the topping ingredients and pour over the cake batter.

Bake until golden brown… 20-30 minutes?
