This is a book that I have recently purchased and I am anxiously waiting to receive it. I have been very interested in learning more about the Biblical Feasts for a while now and today I just happened to see something mentioned in a video which led me to do a Google Search, which led me to a bunch of information that I have saved in a file to look at later, which also led me to PDF preview of this book, which led me to actually purchase the book… WHEW!

I am excited to get the book and learn more about the Feasts. We will probably be using it with our Homeschool studies as well and the kids have been wanting to learn more about the Feasts as well… who doesn’t love a special celebration. I’m hoping to find some ways to incorporate these into our lives so that Christmas isn’t the only time of the year when we really focus on Jesus… HE NEEDS TO BE IN OUR LIVES DAILY! I had been trying to incorporate some of these Feasts into our menu plan but without a FULL UNDERSTANDING, it has been difficult… hoping that this book will help me with this too!

The excerpt gives quite a bit of information and I just want to read and learn even MORE! Many people don’t celebrate these Feasts and others seem to have the wrong impressions about some of them especially when it comes to sacrifices… I’m hoping to learn more about how to see these Feasts from a New Testament point of view.

I love how the preface mentions that her child had trouble finding a book in the Bible and she came to the realization that the schools were not teaching those things. She mentions that the Bible says we must teach the commandments diligently… WE meaning EVERYONE, parents included. This led her on a search to teach Christian Education at home and that is when she decided that if God said to ‘Do it’ then that is what she would do! She also realized that the best instruction manual would be the Bible itself.

Each chapter covers a different Feast. She explains what the Feast is about and the materials you will need to celebrate the Feast. She also explains how to celebrate and the significance of each item. She also includes some fun activities to get the whole family involved… I love this! I am always trying to find ways to make memories with my kids that they can pass along to their kids and I really think this book is going to help us do just that!

I’ll be sure to post more about what we learn and hopefully about the ways we will be celebrating these Feasts in our home. We may not celebrate them in a traditional way but we will find ways to give Honor and Glory to our Father!
