We’ve really been enjoying the warmer days and being able to get outside so much. We love watching the changes going on around us… God is so AWESOME and His wonders never cease to amaze us. To watch things through the eyes of my younger children is a blessing as well because there are so many things that we tend to take for granted in our daily lives.

This was meant to be a quick post to show you our newest addition… so without further ado, please meet Cookie:

He is the cutest and we were patiently awaiting his birth although his Momma kept us guessing. I found this Doe’s Secret Code of Honor online and it seems to be that she had learned this before. Momma and baby are both healthy and doing great.

This also meant that our milking stand project got bumped ahead to the top of the list:

We used some of the old deck that we built the coop out of last year and made a milking stand to use for now… if we decide that we do want to continue to milk the goats then Mr. Awesome will build us a nicer one later on. There are a few adjustments to make on this one but it works well for now.

The kids have all tried the goat milk… and they like it!

We may have more cuteness coming soon as we think our other doe is pregnant as well! We also have a goose sitting on some eggs as well as a couple of incubators going in the house… so much fun!
