February Garden Updates

If you haven’t followed us on YouTube then you are missing out on what we’ve accomplished in our garden over the past month. We have been busy little bees getting ready for our new garden season. The cold had killed a lot of our plants so we took advantage of that and replaced most of our beds with some new metal beds. You can find links for those HERE:

We don’t have our tractor anymore so that meant we had a lot of digging to do and boy am I glad that part is over! There was a lot of hard work and a lot of sore muscles! We just did a little each day and we are finally finished. I’ve started planting out a few things, but I am waiting until mid-March to get the more sensitive plants out.

Here’s a video to show you some of what we’ve been up to:

Now that we have finished that project, we are on to a new project for the birds… the chickens, ducks, and geese to be exact. I have so many ideas for the space and this afternoon we actually dug a pond! It took us 3-4 hours to dig, fill, and landscape! It looks so good. The ducks and the geese are anxious to play in it, but we have some more work to get done in that area before they can be set free. We also put some seeds down so that the area can hopefully start to get established before they get in there.

We are also planning to finish our Master Bathroom remodel that we started last year before Granny got sick. Today we pulled the carpet back in the bathroom to repair part of the floor only to find that it needs a more intensive repair… this house will be like new when we get finished!

Our Perpetual Meal Plans have really made life simpler from Meal Planning and Grocery Shopping when the days have been super busy!

What plans do you have for garden?

I am working on a Beginner Gardeners Guide as well as a new Devotional for March so be sure to stay tuned and follow along so you don’t miss out.

God Bless You
