This year, the USA is celebrating its 250th birthday.

Why do we care?

We care about the USA’s 250th birthday, because we believe that the United States of America was founded on Christian principles, standing as a light for freedom and hope around the world. It is an imperfect, but radiant nation; a testament to the blessing of God on a flawed but faith-filled people. It’s a joy to celebrate the birthday of a good land!

We care about the USA’s 250th birthday, because we believe that we honor our Creator by remembering His hand in our history, so that we can set our hope in Him for the future.

“We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done… so that they should set their hope in God and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments.” (Psalm 78:4,7)

And finally – we care about the USA’s 250th birthday, because we recognize that in many ways, our freedom is drifting away. We believe that God has given us a call to equip our children to stand for life and liberty under His righteous rule into the future – no matter what century or country we’re placed in.
