Boston Baked Beans

I forgot where I got this recipe from but I will gladly give credit if I find my original source.

We usually eat this one day for dinner with Mac-n-Cheese, Slaw, and Rolls. Then we will eat them the next day for lunch. Continue reading “Boston Baked Beans”

Pumpkin Muffins

This is a great way to use up any frozen pumpkin you may have in the freezer. You don’t have frozen pumpkin? Am I the only one with an overabundance of frozen pumpkin? Don’t answer that, please. If you don’t have the frozen you can use canned pumpkin.

I have also added the instructions for a crumb topping which is optional. My kids love muffins, especially Cinnamon muffins, so I add this to them to keep them happy. Continue reading “Pumpkin Muffins”

Inauguration Day

The inauguration of the President of the United States is a very important day to remember. This will be the first one we have had since we began our homeschooling journey. We do not have TV service but I may try to stream it online so we can watch at least a part of it.

I think it would be interesting to research the new president and find out some interesting facts about them as well. Below are some activities I have found:

Cole Slaw

This is as close as I can get to my exact recipe. I just kinda eyeball my ingredients as I pour, dump, and taste. I like mine a little sweet but with a little tang to it also. You can adjust the sugar and vinegar to suit your own taste. Continue reading “Cole Slaw”

This is my go-to recipe for hot fresh rolls in a hurry. They never fail me! Continue reading “30 minute Rolls”
