Groovy Lab in a Box recently collaborated with the Ford Motor Company in a Ford STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) Box. The Ford STEAM Box challenges children to think like a Ford engineer by building a complete prototype of a Ford Mustang GT. For the first run of the kit, Ford worked with Groovy Lab in a Box to create the Ford STEAM Box at no cost (while supplies lasted).

As with all Groovy Lab in a Box STEAM kits, the Ford STEAM Box features multiple tasks including: designing a vehicle frame out of paper using kirigami modeling, working with copper tape and LEDs to create headlights and taillights, and wiring a working motor.
