Hey everybody!
I pray you all are doing well, I’ve not been on the blog in a bit as I have scheduled quite a few posts already as we are trying to focus on the Advent Season here. As we prepare for Christmas we are also doing some preparations for St. Nicholas Day and for our annual Polar Express Party… so much fun!

We are using the Christmas School program from Read Aloud Revival along with a couple of other Advent activities that we already had on hand. RAR is using Little Christmas Carol for their 2024 program.

We’ve had so much fun baking cookies, trying treats from other countries (like fried grasshoppers), learning about other holidays and important people like St. Barbara, and doing some other fun crafts like making luminaries from old baby food jars. We also gathered pine cones to smear with peanut butter and roll in bird seed to make bird feeders for an easy craft.
Part of our ‘Advent School’ is planning for the upcoming events … we might try to learn the ‘Hot Cocoa’ dance and we also made our own BINGO cards for Christmas which is the whole reason I decided to write this little post. You can find the download below:
I used the FREE version of Canva to make this printable… it was pretty simple to make and I love that I can save the template for future use as well. I started to make it with a Polar Express theme but decided against it as we might like to use it a little more often.
The first card with pictures can be copied for the number of players you need. Then they can cut out the pictures (leaving ‘Merry Christmas in the center, if you want to use it as a FREE SPACE) and they can glue them onto a blank card in any order that they like. You will also need to make copies of the blank cards for each player.
The larger pictures will be cut out as cards and then used by the Caller to call the picture. Everyone can mark their spaces with a gold coin cutout or any other marker of their choice… sometimes we just rip construction paper into small squares to use as markers. We’ve also been known to use small candies like M&Ms or Hershey’s Kisses!
Anyway… this is just for fun and you can feel free to use this as you like! We just wanted to share it so others might be able to bring some easy fun into their homes.
Merry Christmas!
God Bless!
