July 2025 Life Updates: Blessings upon Blessings

Where to start?

Well, it’s been crazy busy. We’ve had a LOT going on but we are surviving one day at a time with God’s grace. He is so GOOD to provide us what we need when we need it even if we haven’t asked. HE truly knows our needs before we do.

One example of this was tables… we needed some extra tables for an upcoming baby shower. My sister and I had been talking about them and counting up how many we could put our hands on and we were still a couple short. Lo and behold, a neighbor stopped me at the fence and asked if I needed an outdoor table… why, sure I do!

Not only did she give me a large patio table but she offered to let me borrow a picnic table, if we needed more seating! Yep, GOD is GOOD!

Another example was a refrigerator. We needed another one ASAP but we were trying to hold off for a bit as we didn’t have anything in the budget for one like we wanted.

We were shopping for materials for another project and happened upon a clearance fridge that had all the features we were looking for… nothing extremely fancy but it checked ALL the boxes. We didn’t grab it that day because we weren’t sure but we ‘laid out the fleeces’ so to speak.

When we returned to the store it was still there and an additional 20% was being taken off! GOD is so GOOD.

There are some other instances that I really can’t go into right now but trust me… they are even more spectacular than these examples!

Shyanne had her 3 month oncology appointment… she has seen almost all her specialists in the past couple of months and everything looks AMAZING!!! We have now been graduated to 6 month checkups with oncology… yay!

She also recently turned 5 and she is obsessed with butterflies and cleaning! Where has time gone???

We’ve also had some stressful, scary situations going on with other family but GOD is seeing us through these difficult moments and I trust in HIS plan for our FUTURE.

Due to some of these situations we are making some unexpected changes in our home. We had started on the planned bathroom remodel which still needs to be completed but it is on the back burner.

We’ve added a wall between the breakfast nook and den… same area where we took down the built-in book shelf last year.

The den is almost finished… we just need to add the trim. I also gave the old (non-working) fireplace a mini-makeover.

If you are subscribed to our YouTube channel then you may have already seen these pictures but we will be doing a reveal as soon as we finish the new ‘Morning Kitchen’ area.

Thank God for helpers!

As of right now it still needs texture, paint, and trim so I can start putting the furniture back in place. I’ll try to do a more in depth post/video about the new plans for this space.

Part of this makeover has included painting our bedroom door… Warm Embers from Heirloom Traditions All-In-One Paint is the color I had on hand. It is also the same color I used for the fireplace and the bunk beds and the bookshelves in the living room.

I haven’t even mentioned that room! We had to relocate most of the dining/homeschool area to the living room which meant getting rid of a LOT of stuff!

I painted the bookshelves that we made back in 2020 to match a couple of other cabinets I already had. I had been undecided as to what color to paint/stain them but this works right now.

I’ll try to post some pictures of those changes when we finish everything. Right now the living room is holding a LOT of kitchen stuff until we finish this area and put the cabinets and shelves back in… it’s a MESS!

We have less than 2 WEEKS until the baby shower so I’m pushing as hard as I can to get it all finished.

We had planned to redo the boys’ bedroom at the same time but that will have to wait until after the baby shower because of all the craziness we’ve had going on.

Our house is always LOUD, CRAZY, and CHAOTIC but it’s also filled with love and laughter. We’re trying not to stress to much as we enter this new season full of unknowns but we know that our GOD will supply our every need.

Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers and we will do the same for you!

God Bless!

P.S. I didn’t even mention the garden but here is a quick video:

The painting bug must’ve bitten me because I decided to paint the inside of the back door as well:

I just love this color because in person it reminds me of black cocoa … I really love that stuff!
