It is very inspirational to read how optimistic he was and his sense of humor keeps the whole story very light. He was sent away by his mother at the age of 7. He traveled to England, Canada, and America before returning to Israel. Continue reading “Review: The way of fate: A True Story From the Kindertransport”

Did you know you could change the address on your driver’s license online? I did not until today. My mom had mentioned it to me a couple of days ago. It’s not that I’ve been procrastinating on getting it done but I just haven’t had a chance to make it to the DMV.

I’ve been so crazy busy since we moved, then we were all sick, then sick again, and my vehicle has not been running properly. These challenges have been hard for me to overcome sometimes as a single parent and they can overwhelm anyone at times. Life has definitely been a roller coaster over the past few years. You may be wondering just what the heck Diatomaceous Earth is and what is used for. Well Diatomaceous Earth or (DE) is a fine powder made up of tiny fossilized plankton. It has a variety of uses that range from cleaners, health and beauty products, pest control, etc.

It is also very rich in silica which is needed for healthy teeth, skin, nails, hair, and bones. We have used it here in our home for a wide range of issues. Most recently we have used it in our Natural Facial Scrub/Mask. I try to make sure to buy the Food Grade kind as I know we will be using them in so many ways.

Reseachers have found all kinds of health benefits to DE like: Continue reading “Using Diatomaceous Earth In Your Home”
