Whipped Pie Crust

I will admit I haven’t made this in a while as I just haven’t had the time. There was a time that this was the only pie crust I’d use though. I plan to try my hand at it again soon when I make some Fried Apple Pies.

Apple Sonker

This may not be a true ‘sonker’, or cobbler, but this is the easiest way I know to make one. You can also use other pie fillings to make these delicious desserts. Pair this with some vanilla ice cream and it’s sure to be a winner!

The kids can even help with this one. You can use different fruit fillings to change it up a bit as well! Continue reading “Apple Sonker”

Emergency Rolls

These are also great when you want some fresh, hot bread to go with your meal but you don’t have the time or energy to make yeast rolls. These are so easy that my oldest sons had the recipe memorized when they were teenagers and they would make these and eat them with jelly. Continue reading “Emergency Rolls”

Cinnamon Dippers

This is yet another, sweeter, version of our basic breadstick recipe. This makes a super simple dessert or snack that the kids can help prepare. Top with a vanilla glaze to make it extra special. Continue reading “Cinnamon Dippers”

Buttery Bread Sticks

This is another version of our breadsticks, the same basic recipe just a little bit different. I love those recipes that can work in different ways. If you like cheese and garlic then you should check out the Cheesy Garlic Sticks. Or see the Cinnamon Dippers for a sweet version. Continue reading “Buttery Bread Sticks”
