This is a dessert I’ve had a couple of times since I started square dancing. I love it… I mean it’s full of rich chocolatey goodness and layered on top of coconut and pecans… yum! Don’t plan on bringing home leftovers if you take this to a potluck though.

Nanny J’s Carrot Souffle
This was one of the new recipes we had for Thanksgiving. It was really quite delicious and if you have picky eaters that don’t like carrots you may want to give this a try. Mr. Awesome doesn’t like carrots but he was the one who requested this.

Buttermilk Biscuits with Updated Recipe
I remember learning to make these when I was really young. My first experience baking them was in a wood stove! While I’m thankful for modern conveniences nothing compares to the taste of those first biscuits I made.

Oven Roasted Brussels Sprouts
Here is a super-easy way to make Brussels Sprouts. I used some of the Brussels Sprouts I got with my order from Southwestern Produce a couple of weeks ago.
I’ll be trying out some different recipes as I really haven’t made Brussels Sprouts unless it was the microwave bags, a whole lot. These were pretty good though.
