This week we are super busy but I wanted to give everyone a little update. We made it through Hurricane Debby with only a bit of damage… mostly to plants and fruit trees. We’ve been cleaning up lots of limbs since the water has dried up a bit.

How are you doing? I’m hoping all is well and that you have been enjoying your summer.
We’ve been working really hard around the house and the property even before we knew that we’d be having some very special celebrations happening here. One of the areas that we started on was what the kids are calling ‘The Secret Garden’… I guess it’s not really a secret now because I’m telling everyone about it but I won’t tell them that. It’s also not really ‘hidden’ yet but as the plants fill in it will be a bit more of a secret spot.

Hey ya’ll, we hope everyone had a great 4th!
When I last sat down to write I had shared some of the updates on the house and how we had been decluttering… it felt so good! We finally felt like we could relax and get comfy in our home but then we kept seeing all the little things that we needed to finish.

We love watching the changes going on around us… God is so AWESOME and His wonders never cease to amaze us. To watch things through the eyes of my younger children is a blessing as well because there are so many things that we tend to take for granted in our daily lives.

Whew! It feels like it’s been forever since I’ve actually sat down and checked in on the blog. We’ve been so busy… every time we think it couldn’t get any busier or any more exciting than it does and just when we think we might have a chance to rest a bit something else happens. We’ve also had some appointments, birthdays, and special dances thrown in too!
