I’ve had this recipe for a while but I forgot where I got it from originally. I love this recipe as it is so easy to put together and throw in the crockpot. Not to mention the fact that it smells AMAZING! We usually serve it with mashed potatoes and veggies.
You might even want to try making some homemade bread to go along with this… so GOOD! Add in an easy cobbler or dump cake and you’ve got a complete dinner that everyone will be asking you to put on REPEAT!
Mississippi Pot Roast
Ingredients:
- 1 2-3lb beef roast
- 1/4 c. ranch mix or 1 packet of dry ranch dressing mix
- 1/4 c. Au Jus Mix or 1 packet of dry Au Jus mix
- 1 stick of butter
- 4-6 pepperoncini peppers (basically a whole banana pepper or mild pepper out of the jar)
Directions:
Place roast in crockpot.
Dump everything on top.
Put on the lid and let cook for 6-8 hours on low. DO NOT ADD WATER.
