Flea Market Finds and a Special Delivery from Zoe’s Toolbox!

We recently went to the local Flea Market for a family outing and we found a few interesting items… not as many as our last Flea Market shopping trip but still a few. We didn’t really have anything in particular that we were looking for… just some fun, quality time as a family.

Mr. Awesome found these storage containers, nut bowl, and locking crock in one place. We are hoping to add some nut trees to our collection so we need to be prepared! Papa has some pecan trees that we will be attempting to revitalize so that maybe they will produce enough nuts for the squirrels and the humans… lol.

We also found some books. The kids got a few more but I didn’t get pictures of their books. I will be including a few of these in our new school routine soon. I will post some links to these below if you want to get your own copies.

I probably paid more for the books than Mr. Awesome did for all of his finds.

I didn’t get pictures of the fruit trees but we did get an olive tree, another citrus, a few Cubanelle pepper plants, and a large peach and a large pear with fruits already on them… the smaller trees and plants have found their homes but I’m still undecided as to where to put the larger trees. I have them tied to the front porch as it’s been pretty windy… the fruits are at eye level right now, which is pretty neat!

I think Shyanne was the most excited about the plants… she loves the garden so much! She did find out about one of the downsides of Florida gardening though… ants. We only treat the nests as we find them as we don’t want to risk killing the good bugs but man are these little boogers aggravating! What are your best remedies and tips for dealing with ant bites and for getting rid of the little boogers?

Special Delivery

Shyanne received a special delivery this week as well. She was so excited to receive a box full of goodies from Zoe’s Toolbox. It was full of different therapy items that she loves using on a daily basis. We were very honored to be a recipient of one of these awesome boxes!
