There are so many simple joys that can be found when we embrace the concept of ‘slow living’ which we are trying our best to do around here.
This month has been full of adventures here at home and away. We just never know what to expect. Our area has been experiencing a severe drought so that made gardening a little more challenging this season. We have been so blessed to get a decent amount of rain lately and I don’t complain about it, even when it happens mid harvest!
The next two weeks, we really need to start gathering our ideas and materials for upcoming holidays… this is something I have done for over a decade to keep from feeling so rushed and frantic before the holidays. We still have those last-minute things that pop up, but everything runs pretty smoothly for the most part.
I really wish I had developed this system a LONG TIME AGO! I will post every week to help keep myself on track and maybe help others also… who knows, maybe I can try to do a quick video about these on YouTube as well!
Are you tired of shopping already? Maybe you don’t have a clue what you even need to get? Why don’t you print out these guides and get rid of some of the Holiday stress that is already creeping in… these will also help you to be a little more intentional with any purchases you do make. Plus there are lots of helpful suggestions about gift ideas to go along with the easy to use guides.
Here are some posts that I put together last year about Getting Ready for the Holidays, maybe they can help you have a less stressful holiday season this year. I will update posts as I change things but they may give you a starting point.
