No-Bake Cheesecake with Flavor Variations

I love cheesecake and so does my second eldest son… so much that he insists on having cheesecake for his birthday and any other special occasion. I do have a recipe for a traditional cheesecake but I can’t seem to find it at the moment as it may be packed away.

This recipe is simple and tastes great! You can play with the ingredients to make your own flavors as well as trying different variations on the crust until you find your ‘perfect’ combination.

Peanut Butter Pie w/Meringue

img_9577A sweet old lady shared this recipe with me many years ago when we worked together at a little restaurant. This was her signature pie and people came from all around for a slice of this!

She didn’t really measure so I had to catch her one day when she was whipping this up so we could get it written down.

Roasted Turkey w/ Giblet Gravy

This is probably one of the most searched for recipes around the holidays! This is one that I’ve had forever and it has saved me quite a few times before I had my friend Google.

Making your first turkey dinner can be quite intimidating but you can follow these simple directions for a perfect roasted turkey. Stuffed turkeys generally need to cook at 325 for about 20 minutes/pound while unstuffed turkeys are about 15 minutes/pound but always check the temperature with a meat thermometer!

**Special thanks to my son-in-law @moments2lifephotography for the amazing cover photo!

No-Bake Oatmeal Cookies

This is probably one of the most made cookie recipes in our home as both of my older girls learned how to make these when they were young and they quickly became experts!

These also go by other names such as Preacher Cookies, Beaver Dams, Haystacks, Mud Pies, and Cocoa Quickies but no matter what you call them they are delicious!

Whipped Honey Butter and Cinnamon Butter

I couldn’t decide whether to make these two separate recipes or one but decided on one as we always make them together and it would just be that much simpler to have them on the same page… right?

Anyway, I’ve had to type these up from memory as my recipe binder is packed up in the shed as I really thought we’d be in our new house by now… I’ll update this if I need to once I get to my binder which won’t be any time soon:

We really love this on fresh yeast rolls and my favorite recipe is in that same binder but the 30 minute Rolls are really good with these kinds of butter as well.

Update: I did find my Holiday Binder and I had my butter recipe stapled right to my recipe for the rollspretty smart, huh? I’ve updated the recipe to add a couple of things my memory had left out.
