Recently I had the opportunity to read and review ‘The way of fate: A True Story From the Kindertransport‘ written by George Shefi. This is a wonderful story about how the Holocaust affected a young boy, his family, and those around him.

It is very inspirational to read how optimistic he was and his sense of humor keeps the whole story very light. He was sent away by his mother at the age of 7. Did you know you could change the address on your driver’s license online? I did not until today. My mom had mentioned it to me a couple of days ago. It’s not that I’ve been procrastinating on getting it done but I just haven’t had a chance to make it to the DMV.

Last Minute Craft: A Thankful Book

My kids have done an amazing job at sorting out their toys and straightening up around the house this morning. They even cleaned under the couch and the kitchen cart…. AMAZING!

DS5 is into so many things and his brain is always coming up with creative ideas. For the past week they have been going around the table at dinner time giving each person a chance to say what they are thankful for. DS5 wanted to take it one step further. He wanted a book, A Thankful Book to be exact, for everyone to write what they are thankful for.

The past couple of weeks have been super crazy. I guess everyone has been trying to fit everything in before the holiday season. Then we had the time change which is always so much fun around here… can you hear the sarcasm?
