This idea came to me many years ago after I had been thrown up on numerous times... I really couldn't even begin to guess how many times I've been puked on. The kids would run to the trash can if they couldn't make it to the bathroom so I thought, 'Why not get a trash can that they can carry with them?'. Pretty genius, huh? There is no way to tell you just how many times these simple buckets have saved the day. They keep our house running fairly smoothly when the flu season hits as I don't have to stop numerous times throughout the day to clean up vomit... yuck! I even keep one handy for myself as I start gagging when I hear someone else puking.

Many of you may remember when I posted about our Berkey system a few months ago. I was so excited to see the boxes on the porch when we got home from a dance that I stayed up late to get it all assembled and ready to go for the next day. I've since bought a couple of additional They have a wide variety of sizes to choose from and we ultimately chose to go with the biggest system, the Crown Berkey Water Purification System. It has been such a life changer here at our cabin. The water had gotten so nasty that we really didn't want to even bathe in it much less drink it or use it for cooking. With our new Berkey, the problem was truly solved overnight!

I'd say I'm about an 8 or 9 on most days... I really don't like a dirty house but I hated the smells of the chemicals but with Norwex we can clean super-fast with just a microfiber cloth and water! So easy!

Easy Alfredo Sauce

This is so easy to make and so much better for you than the store-bought stuff. I just used this recently to make Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole and it was so GOOD! This will definitely be our go-to recipe from here on out.

This is also the perfect sauce for Chicken bacon ranch pizza… sprinkle in a tablespoon or so of dry ranch seasoning before adding to the pizza!. Continue reading “Easy Alfredo Sauce” →
