I had this salad many years ago at a special dinner I attended and I have LOVED it ever since. Some of my family doesn’t really care for some of the ingredients but that doesn’t stop me as I could eat as much as I make by myself and not feel bad at all.

This is so good and it’s the perfect side for a Grilled Steak with Gorgonzola pasta on Valentine’s Day or a special meal! It would probably be amazing if you topped it with some grilled chicken as well!

Hmm… I can imagine the sounds of thousands of sighs of relief if we all came together and decided not to celebrate Valentine’s Day anymore. I know you are probably sick of hearing me talk about the new meal plan that we are using but it is the BOMB! The only issue the kids have been having is that they don’t look at the breakfast days separate from the numbered days… I haven’t come up with a solution to that yet as I really like having all the days for a week on one sheet but I think they’ll catch on soon enough.

Valentine’s Day 2018 Roundup

The past couple of weeks have been a bit rough around here. Mr. Awesome was sick and then the internet has been down for a bit. (I’ve been working on this post for a few weeks now but couldn’t post it.) Then my computer died… eek! Thankfully all seems to be better now and I am trying to learn the ins and outs of my new computer.
