Oh, what a week!
We had such a crazy week preparing for the wedding this past weekend… it was beautiful and amazing! We definitely couldn’t have done it without the help and support of our family and friends… thank you all!
We don’t have a lot of pictures to share yet but I will share some when I can… I can’t wait to see them.
Unfortunately, a lot of the pictures were missing or lost somehow… I guess we should’ve had a backup person taking more photos.
I was so busy I didn’t even get to take many pictures at all. We did find a site, weduploader.com that gives you a QR code so that guests can upload pictures that they take… it’s pretty neat!
This first photos didn’t load properly so I’m trying again…

We had tons of great food and plenty of wonderful desserts to choose from. We decided to make a faux wedding cake so it wouldn’t melt in the heat but they did have a small cake for cutting plus the groom had requested a special chocolate chip cheesecake.
God has blessed us with an amazing family and so many wonderful friends!
We DIYed a majority of the decorations and everything was a little extra special because of it. My sisters also came to help with the centerpieces, decorations, food prep, setting up, and even the cleanup… we make such a great team! Together we can accomplish anything!
There were a few little mishaps, our no bake cookies refused to set up, but nothing major. The weather was very nice and everyone seemed to have a great time!
The day afterwards we started hearing talk about a possible hurricane and it seems to be coming together very quickly. Even though it technically isn’t a hurricane yet we are starting to make preparations because it is looking pretty scary.
We still have canopies to dismantle and a lot of cleanup left in the house. We need to sort through the stuff to get it put away until we need it again. It was so much fun but also quite a bit of work… definitely need a bit of rest before we have another party.
Our next big event should be baby time! I’m so excited for that too!
For now though we’ll focus on the upcoming storm and trying to stay safe over the upcoming week.
We pray that everyone will stay safe!
God bless!

Printables:
These were created for free on Canva, printed on cream/ivory cardstock, and then put into the clear acrylic picture frames listed below. Some of them were printed in smaller sizes as well. I did alter one of the printables as the QR code would not have been applicable.
Affiliate links for items used:
I wish we had the photos so you could have seen how beautiful it all turned out but we don’t… maybe these will help you if you are planning a special event! We have used many of these items on multiple occasions so we have definitely gotten our money’s worth out of them!
The tables and chairs were rented by a family member and we do have the 10×20 canopies but they aren’t of the best quality so I won’t be linking them below.
