Easy Crockpot Apple Butter

I don’t post a lot of ‘canning’ recipes on here because most of what I know about canning is in my head. I just do things the way I saw them done when I was young and I can’t really guarantee the accuracy of all of them.

This recipe here is a good one for canning and giving out as gifts though. It never seems to stick around that long here though because my kids LOVE Apple Butter and I love that I know exactly what’s in it. The longer you let this cook the thicker it gets… we like it THICK so we always let it cook just a tad bit longer.

I haven’t tried using anything other than sugar to sweeten this with but I think it would probably be ok to give it a go. This also freezes well if you don’t want to can it.

If you decide to use this for Apple Butter you may want to omit the sugar and seasonings.

Life Update: A Cross-Country Move, House News, and A Question

I want to thank everyone who said a little prayer and kept my daughter and son-in-law in their thoughts this past week as they were traveling across the country to their new home… at least it will be for the next couple of years until they are stationed elsewhere. I miss them so much already but I am so happy to report that they made it safely with almost everything they had tied on the back of their truck… the vacuum cleaner was not so fortunate. They are working on getting settled in and preparing to have their first Christmas away from family… I am so proud but it makes me sad too! Mrs. B’s Good Easy Pizza

This is a recipe I’ve had since my high school home economics class. It was always a hit with my younger brothers and sisters as pizza was a rare treat for us when we were growing up and being able to make it at home was a blessing!

Homemade pizzas are always so much fun because everyone can make their pizza the way they like it… yay! If you don’t care for the tomato sauce you could probably give this a try with some Easy Alfredo Sauce. My kids like to eat their pizza with some homemade ranch dressing.

Black Friday Sale Starts Today!

I haven’t been talking a lot about our Norwex lately but I can tell you that we are even more in love with these products than we were when we first got them.

We’ve been using the cloths and water to clean the majority of our house and we are loving how easy it is not too mention all the money we’re saving because we aren’t buying so many cleaners. After watching some live demos I’m even more confident in Norwex’s ability to remove viruses and bacteria from the surfaces. Continue reading “Black Friday Sale Starts Today!”
