Celebrate Kindness: 10 Simple Acts for Everyone

Our theme of the month is KINDNESS, so my kiddos made some lists of ways that they can show KINDNESS to others. Below are the top 10 ways that they had listed:

  1. Helping others with chores around the house and/or helping others without being asked.
  2. Using KIND words, no grumbling or complaining.
  3. Doing Random ACTS of KINDNESS.
  4. Having a good attitude and showing love to others.
  5. Sharing with others.
  6. Spending time with others.
  7. Cooking a meal or making a snack for someone.
  8. Talking to people and having a listening ear.
  9. Playing games with others and letting them choose what game to play.
  10. Writing a nice note or making a card for someone.

Sowing in Grace & Abundance: A Faith-Based Chaos Garden Guide & Devotional

I’ve been so busy and so sick… these two things don’t go together, but I think I am on the mend now. I’ve missed a couple of deadlines that I had set for myself and I wasn’t able to get a couple of things posted on the blog, but I’m trying to catch up a bit. Maybe I’ve just set my goals too high for this year? I won’t give up on them though… the timeline just might get altered a little bit.

I know I’ve done some videos on CHAOS GARDENING, and I know it isn’t for everyone, but it can be fun. It is also something that kids can help with. I’ve put together a little guide with some suggested seed mixes to try. I also find gardening helps bring me closer to GOD and can really help me when I’m feeling a bit stressed… I combined this garden guide with an optional devotional, if you’d like to give it a try.

I’ve also added some edible flower suggestions to the guide. This method of gardening works really well when you have a bunch of old seeds that need to be used up too… does anyone else have that problem?

Biblical Feasts & Sabbath: A Christian Celebration Guide & Printable Planner

As many of you know, I went down a rabbit hole not too long ago and the things I have learned have totally transformed my life, for the better. Things can still be confusing, and I am by NO MEANS an EXPERT on this topic, but I feel led to share what I have been learning and I will update posts as we continue on this journey.

Today, I want to share with you a little about how we have been celebrating the Biblical Feasts and Sabbath. I will also give you some scripture references for each celebration. This is intended as a starting point for others who may have stumbled upon this as I did. Please do your own research and pray about how GOD will lead you on your journey.
