Emergency Rolls

These are a super easy, super quick fix for those days that get oh-so-busy! Days like today when I forgot to get my dough started for the dinner rolls I had planned to make.

These are also great when you want some fresh, hot bread to go with your meal but you don’t have the time or energy to make yeast rolls. Lazy Dazy Cookie Cake

I have no idea where I got this recipe from but it was probably a FB share. I think I have changed it a little bit since I originally found it. This is a pretty simple recipe for the kids to help with also.  Continue reading “Lazy Dazy Cookie Cake”

Crockpot Cream Cheese Chicken

This is a great way to use up leftover chicken and it is a family favorite too! I wasn’t too sure about it when I first made it several years ago but my oldest son fell in love with it. We usually eat it over a bed of rice but you can also eat it over noodles, Cauli-Rice, or even spaghetti squash… yum!

We love to serve this with Cole Slaw and rolls or homemade bread with butter… so good!

Easy Banana Pudding

This is an easy dessert that my whole family loves, especially grandpa. There are so many different variations of banana pudding that I usually just make it the easiest way I can.

The kids really enjoy helping to put this together and sometimes add a few sprinkles to the top to make it extra special. They can slice the bananas with a butter knife and layout the vanilla wafers. I just have to keep an eye on them to make sure they don’t eat all of the cookies. I also like to put the pudding mix and milk in a container with a tight lid and let them take turns shaking the pudding. Continue reading “Easy Banana Pudding”

Chicken in a Biscuit

This has been a winner since the first time I made it here. It is fairly simple to throw together and sometimes I let the kids help with rolling up the ‘biscuits’. I think the first time I saw this was on a TLC show. Continue reading “Chicken in a Biscuit”
