Mississippi Pot Roast

I’ve had this recipe for a while but I forgot where I got it from originally. I love this recipe as it is so easy to put together and throw in the crockpot. Not to mention the fact that it smells AMAZING! We usually serve it with mashed potatoes and veggies.

You might even want to try making some homemade bread to go along with this… so GOOD! Add in an easy cobbler or dump cake and you’ve got a complete dinner that everyone will be asking you to put on REPEAT!

Sweet and Sour Meatballs

This is a recipe that I have had forever. It is simple and quick to make. It can be made on the stove or in the crockpot too. My kids love this and we usually eat it with Mac-N-Cheese and a veggie on the side. They are always a big hit when served as an appetizer at get-togethers as well. Snacks & Other Goodies

We usually have a couple of snacks during the day. Snacks help to keep the grouchies away!

I always try to keep a bowl of fresh fruit on the table. Our favorites are apples and bananas. I will also try to buy whatever else is in season or on sale to give them a chance to develop a taste for other fruits.
