Sometimes you have those people who don’t really want or need anything and they can be so hard to buy for… just like me. I always appreciate a gift card, especially when it is for something that I wouldn’t buy for myself or to a store that I normally go to anyway. Here are a few of the interesting cards I’ve found today (many of them can be sent via email to make it easy to reach those far away or if you waited until the last minute):

How To Properly Set a Table

I have been working on a Home Ec class for my kids. (Its printed and waiting to be bound and/or laminated.) One of the activities is setting the table. When I came across this post on my Facebook feed I felt I should share it as many of us do get confused and some of us really don’t care.

Luscious Four Layer Pumpkin Cake

This is a reblog of one of my favorite holiday recipes…. I love this cake and I am determined to make it this year… I may even make it before Thanksgiving as I really want to enjoy it. It’s kind of hard to enjoy something so yummy when you are stuffed from all that turkey and other goodies from a big dinner.

Maybe this year we will kind of stretch out Thanksgiving a bit and have a few of our favorites throughout the Thanksgiving/Christmas season so we can enjoy them even more.
