Empty Tomb Rolls (aka Resurrection Rolls) and Resurrection Donut Idea

I found this recipe on Facebook a couple of years ago and my kids love to help make these. This has become an Easter tradition in our home. They are a good way to teach about the resurrection of Jesus at any time though!

Cheese Toast

Cheese Toast

Cheese Toast

Ingredients:

  • 10-12 slices white bread
  • butter or margarine
  • sliced or shredded cheese of your choice

Directions:

Butter one side of each slice of bread and place on a greased baking sheet, buttered side up.

Sprinkle or top with cheese.

Place under the broiler for 1-2 minutes until lightly browned and bubbly.
