The boys have been begging to make something so I decided to let them have a try at banana pudding this past week. I must say that they did a great job and we all enjoyed their tasty dessert!

They had a lot of fun making it as well. We used our Easy Banana Pudding recipe.

Chicken and Dumplin’ Casserole

I love a good bowl of chicken and dumplings every so often. When I can across an old recipe for a chicken dumpling casserole I knew I had to give it a try. However, I needed to tweak it a bit as some of the ingredients wouldn’t go over so well around here.

I took out a few things and added a few things that I normally add to my chicken and dumplings. I tried to snap a few pics and the photo above was before it went into the oven. Cinnamon Raisin Biscuits

I feel like I haven’t posted a new recipe in a while so I thought I should share these yummy treats that we had over the weekend. I make a double batch as they seem to disappear as quickly as they come out of the oven.

How we use these lesson plans:

Our school week is usually completed in 4 days. We use a Loop Schedule where we work for a designated amount of time on each subject before moving on to the next. After their work is completed for the day the kids are allowed to have independent studies were they can study whatever their little hearts desired.

Our 5th day is an optional day that we use to complete unfinished work or for other activities as we choose.
