January 1-7, 2017 Meal Plan
This is our basic meal plan for the week. Sometimes we will switch the days around if I forgot to set something out or put something in the crock pot. Please feel free to use this or change it around to suit your family’s needs.
I do have ‘Snacks/Desserts’ listed as well. I always try to keep a bowl of fresh fruit out on the counter or table for the kids to snack on. Sometimes I will make a special snack or treat for us to enjoy.

This has got to be my number one favorite meatloaf recipe. We usually serve it with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. The whole family enjoys this one and even likes to have meatloaf sandwiches if there are leftovers. Sometimes I add a pack of Lipton Onion Soup Mix to this. Continue reading “Upside-Down Meatloaf”
7 layer cookies
I love cookies, don’t you? I’ve seen different variations of this one and I am sure they are all delicious. You can play around with the ingredients and make it to your liking. Continue reading “7 layer cookies”
Mississippi Pot Roast
I’ve had this recipe for a while but I forgot where I got it from originally. I love this recipe as it is so easy to put together and throw in the crockpot. Not to mention the fact that it smells AMAZING! We usually serve it with mashed potatoes and veggies.
You might even want to try making some homemade bread to go along with this… so GOOD! Add in an easy cobbler or dump cake and you’ve got a complete dinner that everyone will be asking you to put on REPEAT!
