Biblical Feasts: Passover Menu & Activities

If you’ve been around here for a bit, then you probably know that we have been on a journey to learn more about the Biblical Feasts. Well, Passover is almost upon us, and I decided that being prepared makes it more likely that I can follow through with the intentions of celebrating this year.

We plan to try to incorporate some traditional dishes, and we plan to eat by candlelight whenever possible. Please note that I am not an expert, and most of these ideas are just ideas that I have, and I can not say that they are traditional or ‘allowed’ for a traditional Jewish celebration.

The Lord had told Moses to have the people take an unblemished lamb into their homes and let it there with them for four days before killing it for the Passover Dinner… we probably won’t be doing this but we will try to eat lamb.

Wine or Grape Juice is normally served with meals as well, although we will probably opt for sparkling juice, apple cider, or juice.

You can change whatever recipes you need to make this work for you… you can even buy premade foods and make this work. The idea is to celebrate your BLESSINGS and show THANKFULNESS to GOD.

Celebrating Biblical Feasts

This is a book that I have recently purchased and I am anxiously waiting to receive it. I have been very interested in learning more about the Biblical Feasts for a while now and today I just happened to see something mentioned in a video which led me to do a Google Search, which led me to a bunch of information that I have saved in a file to look at later, which also led me to PDF preview of this book, which led me to actually purchase the book… WHEW!

Biblical Feasts: Passover Resources

I’ve been talking about these Biblical Feasts to anyone who will listen, whether they want to know about them or not because I’m so intrigued that I never knew about these BEFORE!!!

I have some resources listed in this blog post Holy Days vs Holidays but I wanted to post some more that were more related to Passover. I’m sure that I will be posting about the other Biblical Feasts as well but right now we are focused more on Passover as that is the one that is coming up first. I’m posting them here so I don’t lose them or forget about them… maybe they’ll help someone else but if not they will be here when I need them!

I really like watching Heavenly Minded Homeschool but recently I came across the Living with Eve YouTube channel and I LOVE IT!!! It may be because they have the CUTEST daughter who reminds me of our youngest but I do SERIOUSLY LOVE this channel!
