I know you are probably sick of hearing me talk about the new meal plan that we are using but it is the BOMB! The only issue the kids have been having is that they don’t look at the breakfast days separate from the numbered days… I haven’t come up with a solution to that yet as I really like having all the days for a week on one sheet but I think they’ll catch on soon enough.

Getting Ready for the Holidays Weeks 1 & 2

Is it ever too early to think about Christmas? Probably not, especially when you consider all of the extra things that happen during that busy season. We just got everything decorated for Fall… I think this might be the first year we have really decorated this house as I kept waiting until we had everything ‘just right’ but who knows when that will be, so we might as well try to make things a little nicer today.

St. Nicholas Day 2022

Yesterday afternoon I had the kiddos help me dig out the Christmas decorations and the tree. I’m so thankful that we’ve used color-coded totes (dark green for Christmas) for our seasonal decor as this makes it much easier to find the necessary items.

The kids were a little upset that we didn’t put the tree up last night but they were super excited to find some early gifts on the table this morning.
