Canned Pumpkin

I don’t post a lot of ‘canning’ recipes on here because most of what I know about canning is in my head. I just do things the way I saw them done when I was young and I can’t really guarantee the accuracy of all of them.

This works well for anything that calls for store-bought canned pumpkin. We love using it in our Luscious Four-Layer Pumpkin Cake. I haven’t tried using anything other than sugar to sweeten this with but I think it would probably be ok to give it a go. This also freezes well if you don’t want to can it.

Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

I believe these are the cookies my little brothers had nicknamed ‘Cowboy Cookies’ but I’m not sure. I do know that they are really good and these can be made into gifts by layering the dry ingredients in a jar and attaching a copy of the recipe to the jar with a little bit of ribbon.

35+ Freezer Meals In One Day!

I had to do my grocery shopping this past weekend and our internet was DOWN! This meant that I needed to physically go into the store and push the buggy down the aisles… pure TORTURE, right? Well, maybe it doesn’t seem that bad but I have been spoiled by the grocery pickup service.
