Special Holiday Meals: Amelia Earhart Day

Amelia Earhart Day is the day we honor one of the greatest aviators! Click here to learn more about this holiday. It is celebrated on July 24th.

According to many sources, her flight dinners had to be quick, nourishing, and easy to eat. She also really liked tomato juice as a beverage to sustain her.

Tomato Soup –could have been taken in a cup and sipped with a straw

Grilled Cheese, Veggie Tray

Boiled Eggs

Chocolate Squares, Raisins

**After dinner, go stargazing with a cup of hot cocoa in hand and imagine what it must have been like in the cockpit of the plane with Amelia.
