Special Holiday Meals: National Blueberry Day

National Blueberry Day is the day we celebrate the marvelous blueberry! Click here to learn more about this holiday. It is celebrated on July 8th.

We have a few blueberry bushes growing in the yard, but little Shyanne eats them as quick as they get ripe. One day, we may have enough to start freezing them so we can enjoy blueberry dishes all year round.

Yearning For Simpler Times

Last night I dreamed we had moved. It wasn’t a fancy house, in fact it was a bit run down and a lot smaller than where we live now. It needed a lot of cleaning and a bit of work but we loved it. It was a fresh start from all the stress and chaos we have right now at this moment.
