Earthquake Cake

This is a dessert I’ve had a couple of times since I started square dancing. I love it… I mean it’s full of rich chocolatey goodness and layered on top of coconut and pecans… yum! Don’t plan on bringing home leftovers if you take this to a potluck though.

Nanny J’s Carrot Souffle

This was one of the new recipes we had for Thanksgiving. It was really quite delicious and if you have picky eaters that don’t like carrots you may want to give this a try. Mr. Awesome doesn’t like carrots but he was the one who requested this.

Chickenpox Remedy

I know Chickenpox is not as common as it once was but boy do I remember when my oldest son got it. I was pregnant with my second child and I got it too for the second time. It was a bit uncomfortable for me but my husband had never had them. He and his cousin caught them and they were miserable until I came up with this to use for them.

This would probably be good for any kind of itchy rash that you may have. This combined with the BRAT/BOAT diet can also help with the discomfort from hand, foot, mouth disease.
