Cheesesteak Skillet

I actually first saw this recipe on the YouTube channel, Fearfully Created, and had to try it out. With the prices of groceries going up, we have made some modifications to make this more budget friendly and everyone agrees that it is very yummy! When eating low-carb, we will use some keto friendly buns or cauliflower in place of noodles.

You can add whatever toppings that you like but we usually like onions and bell peppers. We also add mushrooms to the ground meat to make it a little more nutritious. You could sneak some more veggies in there too.

Note: I forgot to add the garlic to the original recipe but I’ll try to update that.

Homeschool days making dinner crunched?

Having dinner ready to go whenever we’re ready to eat is such a lifesaver on busy weeknights when we head out to activities. Now my *kids* are taking charge of dinner from start to finish. Before we start school, they start the slow cooker. Check out the videos from Kids Cook Real Food that we are using here.
